Elahieh Residential
The goal of this project is to design a 9-story apartment in Elahieh in District 1 of Tehran. Construction in District 1 has no distinct order and apartments are usually made of stacking little boxes on top of eachother. We decided to change the order of that by morphing the facade and following the plans.
Metamorphosis
This project will challenge the traditional order of the Cartesian grid by employing a linear gradient to disrupt the typical right-angled organization. Flower boxes, arranged along this gradient, will grow progressively larger, further disrupting the grid’s uniformity. The space behind these strategically placed flower boxes will be the primary focus, demanding innovative solutions for its organization and function. This approach aims to create a dynamic and organic spatial experience that departs from the rigidity of the grid system. Creating unique spatial qualities and connecting the ground to the roof with greenary.
