Babylon Villa
Passing through the mian road of Oushan, the site is located in the slope of the Albourz Mountains, overlooking the small village down the hill where one of the streams of the Fasham river is running.
Dense greenary alongside the river, propogate over the slope, reaching the main road. On the other side of the road has a scattered vegitation.Located down on the foot of the Alborz Mountains, the site dictated a particular type of design to interact perfectly with the context.
Subsequent layers incorporate horizontal surfaces to develop specious rooms, allowing exceptional experience in the heart of the mountains and cohabitation with nature. To immitate the natural form of the mountain , a network of lines was designed. The rythm of these lines are conducted as the functionaly dictates, resulting a costumed network. As walls are placed on this network the elevation also rearenged so that the villa climb on the slope accordingly. The design Idea is originated from the unique characteristics of mountain geography.
The design proposes integration with the body of the mountain instead of a reckless placement of complicated geometry on the ground.
Hence, the project camouflage in the context and unite with the Slope.
Vegitation grow on top of the walls expanding throught out the site surrounding the pool, play ground and narrow path going down the hill. Gardens in various size also spread in every corner alongside the passes.
Villa as a whole is like a small particle of a chain of greenary which starts from near the river down the hill and continues to the main road. Our project act as green sopt connecting to the rare vegitation north side of the road to the lush greenary in the south.
