The angular projects site is located in front of the park and on sloped land, providing an excellent opportunity to develop and benefit both the city’s astonishing view down the grade and the majestic beauty of the northern mountains.

Located in Tehran—Velenjak, this project has the spectacular potential of a picturesque view of the mountains and an endless view of the city. The architect has decided to give the building a unique and dynamic look.

What individualizes this project from other buildings in the city and mostly in the neighborhood is the idea behind designing the building`s corner, its skyline, and its connection to the ground. In the design process of this building, interior spaces have been seen as boxes that start sliding on each other as they get closer to the west side of the site, giving the corner of the building a unique and dynamic look and introducing terraces with the videos they create. These terraces have a spectacular view to the north, south, and west, which is the most precious asset of this site. The site from the north has a picturesque view of the northern mountains of Tehran, and from the south has an endless view of the city. This is the exceptional potential of this location that can give the dwellers a special experience and having terraces on the west was the best solution to activate such potentiality.

The solution to the sky and ground line has been relatively the same. The elements on the top are vertically extended to the sky, while the lower elements are extended to the ground. Since the mass was designated to be floating, the lower motives do not touch the ground until they finally meet it at the entrance.

The idea behind this project was to form a building from several frames and windows, between which life and activity would happen. Now the question is how we would place these frames to form the whole project. How do we want the building to look like? The idea was to show progress from order to irregularity, to illustrate what the project site is. The project site with its neighbor block on the west has a rigid, order-based, and regular personality, while the freedom that it has on the east, gives it a more diverse character. That’s where there are no obstacles for it to stretch its arms and embrace the city.
